The Women’s Mountain Retreat is a fun-packed 6-day event in the mountains of Colorado guided by Bill Blair MDIV, SPI, LC, and Courtney Layson LPC, CSAT, CMAT, (Layson Counseling Group). Your trip combines adventure initiatives with guided reflection to help your dreams get traction.

ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES

Your trip may include the follwoing activities led by certified guides and instructors: hiking, backpacking, whitewater rafting, fly-fishing, yoga and rock climbing in the backdrop of the Mountains.

LODGING/CAMPING

Lodging is a combination of backcountry camping and Airbnb accommodations.

FOOD

You will learn to cook mindful meals that can be replicated at home.

SESSIONS

There is wisdom that comes through an examined experience through the 12 steps. Through the coaching process, you will gain personal awareness and the confidence to navigate the next phase of your journey in life and relationships.

FACILITATOR BIOS

Courtney Layson is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Wellness coach and owner of Layson Counseling Group in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Courtney is trained in treating trauma and addictions through the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals. She also is a facilitator for 12-step recovery work.

Bill Blair is a professional coach, minister, AMGA-certified single pitch instructor (climbing), and founder of Rocks To Rivers wellness organization. He has a background in ministry, leadership development, 12-step recovery coaching, and adventure-based risk management.

The minimum age for participation is 18.

ARRIVAL/TRANSPORTATION 

We strongly recommend that clients arrive in Colorado the day before the trip to allow time for acclimatization. Clients are responsible for their own transportation before and after the trip regardless of flight delays.  

On day one of the trip (7/6) clients will meet at a designated location. Thereafter Rocks To Rivers will provide shuttle service during the trip.  Clients are responsible for their own transportation, back to the airport at the close of the trip.

All flights on final day must depart after 2 PM.
